We opened our doors in 2005, and a strong family ethos and sustainability are still at the heart of everything we do. We source all ingredients locally, with landings from Chesil Beach to Brixham; we take pride in growing our ingredients in our kitchen garden and our team’s hand forage along the shoreline of the fleet lagoon and surrounding areas.

What We Do
We have our own Portland Oyster beds just a stones throw from the restaurant so you can enjoy fresh Oysters on your table within minutes of them leaving the water!
We specialise in all types of seafood, fresh and underutilised, championing all varieties of fish and underutilised fish caught in our channels. We are passionate about sustainability and support sustainable fishing methods, most notably serving fish marked NPV; these fish have been caught by non-powered fishing vessels (rowing boats) operated by families local to Portland.
All landings are caught 40 miles from our front door.

We are open Wednesday to Saturday for lunch and dinner, and a long lunch on Sunday. We are closed on Monday & Tuesday.
