We write our menu up to twice a day depending on the fresh catch brought in each day by local fishermen from local boats, weather permitting.
The lunch menu will be something similar to that of dinner, the only variation will be due to the fresh fish being landed.

Sea trout cured in somerset cider brandy with shaved mouli radish and compressed cucumber
Razor clams in their shell with chorizo, green beans and herb crumb
Pan fried Squid Singapore style
Mussels steamed in garlic, white wine and thyme cream
Ginger jake herring with sour cream
Lemon sole fillet stuffed with crab and cheese
Whole Plaice baked with anchovy butter
Whole Mackerel roasted with chilli, garlic, soy served on a
bed of Chinese vegetables
Grey mullet pan fried with
citrus fruits and soriander butter
Baked Pollack fillet with herb crumb
and sun dried tomato mayo
Whole Sea bass roasted and stuffed with herb belly
Turbot steak poached in saffron cream with mussels
Sand sole poached in garlic, rosemary oil
Megrim sole baked chilli and lime

The Crab House Philosophy
Our menu changes daily and often twice a day due to the different fresh fish being landed. All of our fish is as fresh as can be, being landed either in Weymouth, Brixham or Poole. Our famous crabs are caught in the English waters of the Channel. We pride ourselves in using local produce as much as we possibly can. If something is not available on the menu it is often due to bad weather conditions at sea – so please be understanding.
For parties eight and over an optional 10% service charge will be added to the bill and when booking a £10.00 deposit per head will be required.
